Problem Solving and Decision Making


Leaders everyday are asked to review a problem, discuss different ways of solving the problem, and then make a decision on exactly how to solve the problem. This course is in two sections:


1.    Discussion and analysis of alternative solutions to the problem;


2.    Decision making – choosing the quality solution and get everyone’s participation in the execution of the solution.

 

 

 

Effective Leadership in a Changing Environment” is a pre-requisite for this class. The key concepts of the “Problem Solving and Decision Making” class are:

1.    Definition of a problem
2.    Analysis of a problem
3.    Defining the solutions
4.    Decide and select which solutions should be implemented
5.    Implement a solution with respect for everyone
