Introduction:
At present, standards for teacher education programs do not exist in Afghanistan. This endeavor addresses the possibility of developing and implementing such standards. Standards for a Program of Teacher Education identify quality content and processes for training that the FOE seeks to impart to future teachers.
Four Domains of Teacher Education Program Improvement:
• Institutional Commitment to Improvement
• Program Community and Vision
• Knowledge and Expertise of Teacher Training Professors
• Opportunity to Learn Through Practice
